Qualification

City & Guilds Level 2 Higher Diploma in Creative Hair and Beauty Studies

This qualification meets the ASL requirements of the Diploma in Hair and Beauty Studies and supports the development of creative and imaginative skills. The purpose of this qualification is to develop the learner's skills and understanding of the Hair and Beauty Sector, engaging their interest through experiential learning.

Candidates must complete the required number of units to achieve a total of 180-270 guided learning hours from the optional units:

   - Create an image based on a theme in hair and beauty
   - The art of colouring hair
   - The art of dressing hair
   - The art of photographic make-up
   - Introduction to tanning techniques
   - Body art design
   - Shaping and colouring eyebrows
   - Foot care
   - Introduction to head massage
   - Facial care for men
