Welsh Baccalaureate - Society, Health and Development

The Principal Learning in Society, Health and Development provides opportunities for learners to develop an understanding of the importance of the Health, Community Justice, Children and Young People’s Workforce and Adult Social Care sectors and their role in the wider community. The Principal Learning explores issues such as valuing diversity, health, well-being and different lifestyles.

Learners will be able to experience partnerships in practice and the ways agencies work together to provide services. They will gain an awareness and knowledge of the skills needed to deal with some of the most vulnerable members of society.
