Preparing to Teach the New Diplomas
A series of line of learning specific events designed to cover all aspects of implementation for Diploma delivery. These sessions will go through in detail; delivery methods, course planning and assessments giving you the confidence to start teaching. AQA-City & Guilds' Subject Experts will be on hand to answer any questions and there will be the opportunity to network with other practitioners.
You will receive:
- course planning guide
- Sample Assessment Materials including mark schemes
- information on task setting and learner outcomes
- schemes of work
- the availability of an examiner and/or moderator to answer questions
Programme
These full day sessions run from 10.15 - 15.45 and are free of charge. The day will be led by AQA-City & Guilds Diploma Subject Experts and include materials, refreshments and a light lunch.
Who should attend?
Diploma teaching practitioners who will be teaching in September 2011 and are looking for technical information about a specific line of learning.

We have reduced the amount of events that are currently being run due to everyone awaiting the outcome of the Wolf report, the numbers booked onto the events have been low and we will look at running more events in the New Year when we have a clearer picture.
