Work experience
The Diploma requires a minimum of 10 days’ work experience at each level.
Work experience should be linked to:
- the Diploma subject
- the project topic chosen by the student
- the desired progression route
Benefits of work experience
- it supports the development and recognition of work-related learning.
- students develop sector-related skills, when undertaken in a relevant setting.
- general employability skills are developed.
- part-time employment can also be used to contribute to this component of the Diploma.
